Pre-Production Process

The video pre-production process is all about planning and setting the foundation for a successful shoot. It starts with a creative brief, which outlines the project’s goals, target audience, key messaging, and overall vision. This document ensures that everyone involved is aligned before moving forward. From there, we move into storyboarding, which happens in two stages: a rough storyboard and a detailed storyboard. The rough storyboard is a simple sketch or outline of scenes, helping to visualize the sequence and flow of the video. The detailed storyboard takes it a step further by including shot descriptions, camera angles, dialogue, and other essential elements to guide production. This process helps streamline the shoot, ensuring efficiency and a clear creative direction.
